What would winning mean to you?
It would be great honor to win. The kitchen has always been the place where I feel so comfortable. When problems arise with the kids or whatever, I will take out my mixer and bake away. It’s great therapy. I buy the huge bags of flour from Costco. It always changes the mood in the household especially when something delicious pops out from the oven. Being cooking is my passion, it would be both fulfilling and rewarding, if I would win. My kids, would finally understand their Mom.

My kitchen appliances are 14 years old and I really need to replace the refrigerators. Every GE serviceman from my local area, has been in my kitchen to replace some part of the refrigerators! It would be fantastic that I could finally have a party and not have a meltdown when the guests arrive.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I think people would be surprised to find out that I have lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for twenty years, when I got married. I speak Spanish with a southern accent from Memphis, Tennessee. South Americans are very healthy, and they eat no junk food. The experience from living there has changed the way I see food, prepare, and present it.
