
With four boys in the family, Eric Silberman wound up with the job of making the matzo balls every shabbat - and boy did it pay off! After thousands of entries were reviewed, tested and judged, Eric Silberman's "Mod" Matzo Ball Soup came out on top. He dazzled the judges and cooked his heart out in front of Chef Claire Robinson, and the panel of food critics, cookbook authors and the like. Eric walks away with the $25,000 grand prize, including new Maytag kitchen appliances, cash and one big trophy. Thanks to all our contestants and everyone who entered and made this year our best cook-off yet!
