The year was 1888. A great blizzard blanketed the Northeast. Benjamin Harrison was running against Grover Cleveland for president and National Geographic magazine published its first cover. On this crisp March morning, Rabbi Dov Behr Manischewitz turned to his wife and said, "I am going to bake matzos this year." The rest is history.
In honor of our rich heritage, Manischewitz is proud to sponsor Jewish American Heritage month this May.
We are grateful for the role we've played in the lives of Jewish Americans for over 120 years. Thank you for inviting us to your homes, your meals, your celebrations. This May, we celebrate you.
