What is your favorite holiday to cook for?
Passover – I love the challenge of coming up with yummy desserts that don’t taste like matzah!!
What kitchen utensil you can't live without?
My hand mixer – I use it for everything….even boxed brownie mix!

Dinner – it means that the day is finally over!!

What ingredient do you use the most?
Boxed cake mix!
What is your favorite cookbook?
The one I compiled of all of my grandmother's recipes that were scratched out on index cards and pieces of paper over half a century. I gave it to all my cousins and aunts several years ago and still reference it all the time.
What are you looking forward to most at the finals?
Seeing the other amazing cooks and their dishes!
What would winning mean to you?
As a young person who is really still beginning to experiment in the kitchen, it would give me the confidence to keep throwing together different ingredients and seeing what I can come up with.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I commuted 140 miles round trip to attend a Jewish high school in Baltimore….and now I work at that same school!
