Who knew homemade dumplings could take it all? Sarah did! After thousands of entries were reviewed, tested and judged, Sarah Freedman-Izquierdo's Mandarin Dumpling Soup came out on top. Overcoming her "shyness", she dazzled the judges and cooked her heart out in front of Chef Jacques Pépin, and the panel of food critics, cookbook authors and the like. Sarah walks away with a state-of-the-art GE Profile™ Stainless Steel Kitchen*, a $5,000 check from Manischewitz, plus other goodies. Thanks to all our contestants and everyone who entered and made this year our best cook-off yet!
